The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colorado Wedding

The Surf Hotel and Chateau in Buena Vista, Colorado is one of my all time favorite venues to shoot at. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, clean, and has the friendliest staff. The way the reception area can be turned into the most magical dance floor is magnificent!

The Surf Hotel is LGBTQIA+ friendly, which is wonderful! No second guessing if they are inclusive and celebratory of many different love stories. Knowing that I can recommend my clients to the Surf Hotel and that they’ll be in good hands makes my heart happy.

The Chateau area of the Surf Hotel is gorgeous, particularly in the popular fall wedding months (August, September, and October). The weather also tends to be PERFECT during these months for fall outdoor weddings. I love how customizable the ceremony space is- you can choose to have an exuberant amount of florals, or take a minimalist route. Either way, The Surf Hotel is a stunning venue worth adding to your list of venue maybe’s.

I love how the Surf Hotel incorporates plenty of indoor and outdoor party space. It’s also convenient that couples and guests can stay overnight at the hotel- the perfect venue for folks having a Colorado destination wedding or for folks who live in Colorado but want a romantic mountain wedding getaway!

Being a Colorado wedding videographer and having the opportunity to work at The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista is a dream come true. I would love to work here more often because this venue and scenery cannot be beat- The pure whimsy that this venue gives weddings is unmatched.
